- Abstract
The article offers poetry criticism of Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy: Paradiso." It analyzes the cosmological functions of angels in moving between the celestial spheres of heaven. Dante's use of Augustinian theology and the biblical book of Hebrews is evaluated. Angelology, attributes of angels, and the active and contemplative operations of angels are also discussed.
