- Abstract
The methodological reflexivity should be part of every researcher's task. It allows constant evaluation of the relevance, flexibility and limits that suggest the methods, techniques and the researcher's experience itself. This panoptic gaze of the creative process, known as research, helps to recognize the way the object of study is constructed, as well to identify the terms in which it is explained. The following text outlines the issues of theoretical and methodological perspectives on time, and in particular the social time. Through a case study in the community Pai Pai, ethnicity native of northwestern Mexico, it presents a reflection exercise from a methodological qualitative perspective, and searches the senses that give shape to what has been defined as Pai pai times: ways this group expresses it and also lives it.
