- Abstract
This paper focuses on the performance degradation of phosphogypsum under dry-wet cycle conditions. The dry-wet cycle properties of phosphogypsum anhydrous gypsum composite is improved by adding anhydrous gypsum, and the mechanism of anhydrous gypsum improving the dry-wet cycle properties of composite gypsum is further analyzed. The results show that with the increase of dry-wet cycle times, the absolute dry flexural and compressive strength of phosphogypsum continues to decline, and the corrosion rate increases gradually. The absolute dry flexural and compressive strength of composite gypsum increases first and then decreases. After 10 dry-wet cycles, the absolute dry flexural and compressive strength of composite gypsum begins to be greater than that of phosphogypsum, and the change trend of corrosion rate of composite gypsum is same as that of the phosphogypsum, and has always been greater than that of phosphogypsum. There is anhydrous gypsum in the composite gypsum, which is continuously hydrated during the dry-wet cycle, which increases the early strength of the composite gypsum, inhibits the dissolution of calcium sulfate dihydrate and slows down the strength loss of the composite material.
