Abstract
This article discusses the regulatory issue in telecommunications industry of the U.S. Dr. Robert Harris, director of the business and public policy program at the University of California at Berkeley, believes that the U.S. regulation of the telecommunications industry is hindering its growth. He is concerned that Japan has surpassed the United States and this will eventually impact other areas of the economy.
