- Abstract
The article reports on the case study of a 9-year-old girl who was suspected to have a contact or photocontact allergy to a sunscreen. It states that two days after the patient used the sunscreen, she experienced itchy and burning dermatitis on the arms and face. It points out the importance to test ingredients especially those that are found to be a source of allergen. The association between carbohydrates and allergic contact dermatitis is also emphasized.
