- Abstract
The article discusses a study which performed rapid enumeration of four indicator microorganisms in ground beef with the use of a freeze-dried four-culture method used for ensuring food plant hygiene. A method was developed that would permit a single 96-well microtiter plates to be prepared and stored in a stable form that could be conveniently used later. It concluded that the use of freeze-dried microtiter plates is the most convenient way to perform microbial food quality analysis.
