- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the study by T. H. Kim and colleagues regarding the airway remodelling in patients with persistent allergic rhinitis. They say that the study shows nasal mucosa remodelling, collagen's altered distribution pattern , and remodelling degree affected by severity of rhinitis. They also highlights various issues including the lack of functional parameter, failure to consider rhinitis duration, and functions of transforming growth factors (TGF)-β.
