- Abstract
The article presents a case study of Three woman having previous remote diagnoses of serous ovarian carcinoma. The third woman was otherwise healthy without any prior cancer history. Further workup for this third patient included a pelvic ultrasound showing suspicious echogenicity of the right ovary. PET/CT imaging in all three cases revealed widespread FDG-avid disease in the affected breast. Each patient was treated with systemic therapy for metastatic ovarian carcinoma.
