- Abstract
The article discusses the new sighting of Ophiophagus hannah also known as King Cobra in Sikkim, India. It says that it reported sighting of King Cobra at Yuksam village in the West District of Sikkim, which is normally distributed in northeastern part of the country. It also mentions that the said sighting stresses the new 1840 meter altitude record of the sighted specie which might indicate the emersion of potential habitat of Ophiophagus in Sikkim Himalaya, and therefore need further study.
