The article focuses on historiography, the significance of teaching it, and its presentation in the classroom under the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) History courses. A definition of historiography is given, with an emphasis on the cenceptualisation of the relationship between the past and History. Recommendations to best teach historiography and make it more meaningful, engaging, and fun are given, along with the benefits of historiography to students.
