- Abstract
This article discusses a case study of a 75-year-old female patient with recurrent tako-tsubo-like syndrome. The patient had a history of a previous episode of tako-tsubo syndrome and was admitted to the cardiology department with symptoms of dyspnea and heart failure. The patient underwent invasive coronary angiography, which revealed tortuous coronary arteries and prominent Thebesian veins draining blood directly into the left ventricle. Following intensive heart failure pharmacotherapy, the patient's symptoms improved and left ventricle ejection fraction increased. The article highlights the dynamic nature of Thebesian veins anomaly and its potential role in myocardial steal phenomenon.
