The article reports on the ancient Egyptian town in the Western Nile Delta called Sais which is also the capital of Egypt in the seventh or sixth century BC. Discussed is the site which has an Early Dynastic cult centre which later named temple of Neith and royal tombs of the Twenty-sixth Dynasty kings. It also mentioned the presence of Neolithic and Pre- to Early Dynastic pottery and stone tools.
