The article provide an acoustic analysis of voiceless and voiced guttural fricatives in three languages such as Emirati Arabic, Iraqi Central Kurdish, and Lebanese Western Armenian. Topics include examines that the first two languages contrast voiceless and voiced uvulars, voiceless and voiced pharyngeals and the voiceless laryngeal.
