- Abstract
Information about several papers discussed at a history conference "Home Army Soldiers and Their Fate in Soviet Camps," held December 7, 2008 in Koszalin, Poland is presented. Topics include the policies of the Soviet Union towards Poles, especially against against the Armia Krajowa (Polish Home Army) from World War II to 1956, and considered the actions of the Narodnyi komissariat vnutrennikh del (NKVD), forced labor, repatriation policies, forced deportations, and work camps or concentration camps. The symposium featured several historians including Bogusław Polak, Zenon Kachnicz, and Małgorzata Kachnicz-Fabich.
