- Abstract
The article discusses legal and labor issues over the rights of state-paid home care services providers. Also cited are the high demand for said workers to provide critical care to disabled and old people, the 2014 ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Harris v. Quinn, the right of said workers to join public sector unions, and the role of organized labor in resolving issues in the home care industry.
