- Abstract
The article focuses on legal rights provided to the victims of criminal incidents under the U.S. law and emphasizes the need of forming a legislation which provides right to a speedy trial to victims. It informs that prosecution of crimes against victims is usually typically delayed through scheduling conflicts and discusses the need of enacting a law for speedy trial for child victims.
