- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Indian Tribal Energy Development and Self-Determination Act (ITEDSA) as of November 2012, focusing on a historical overview of the ITEDSA, as well as an examination of the impact of the ITEDSA on an Indian tribe's ability to control their resources. The U.S. Supreme Court case United States v. Navajo Nation, which deals with royalties associated with energy development on an Indian tribe's reservation, is also mentioned.
