- Abstract
The article reports on the establishment of renal cell carcinoma bone metastasis through the promotion of tumor growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1). A study was conducted which found that TGF-β1 stimulation of RCC bone metastasis cells promotes tumor growth and bone destruction possibly by stimulating paracrine interactions between tumor cells and the bone.
