- Title
Norse-Derived Terms in Orm's Lexico-Semantic Field of EMOTION.
- Authors
Pons-Sanz, Sara M.
- Abstract
The article focuses a study showing that it is only through the careful consideration of the way in which a particular lexico-semantic field works that one can establish its make-up, the relationships that its various members have with one another, and the techniques employed by an author in his lexical choices. It hopes that more scholars will conduct studies on their lexis to gain a better understanding of Middle English vocabulary and processes of integration of the Norse-derived terms.
