- Abstract
The article discusses the role of imaging and laser surgery, a platform for automated screening of zebrafish larvae at high throughput based from the study by Yanik and colleagues. It says that the platform permits quick loading of larvae from multiwell plates and prevents scoring of cellular morphology by neuronal robo2 astray mutant, that detects subtle cellular defects. Moreover, platform allows detection of phenotypic changes and high-throughput vertebrate screening with high resolution.
