- Authors
Poterack, Kurt
- Abstract
The article discusses the art of celebrating as the true contribution of a new liturgical movement. The author reports on how some local extraordinary form Mass whose wretched music and mediocre ceremonial has made the ordinary form English Mass at his college seem so superior. He concludes that while the grace of the Mass is not dependent on mere human effort, people's receptiveness to that grace is effected by the environment in which they receive it. He says structural reforms will not be enough if a culture of liturgical excellence is not built up.
