- Abstract
The article provides an overview on several playhouses in London, England. The Curtain, operated if not originally built by Henry Lanman, unveiled in late 1577 where the Sussex' Men probably played from 1577-1583. The Boar's Head was opened in 1598 in which actor Robert Brown led a company of actors from 1599-1600. The Fortune was the first square amphitheatre to unveil in London and funded by Edward Alleyn and Philip Henslowe.
