- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of botanical gardens in assisted migration of plant species to favorable areas due to changing climatic conditions. Topics discussed includes laws made against the movement of species hindering biodiversity conservation, the experience and expertise of botanical gardeners that can be helpful in assisted migration and the translocation trial of the Siberian primrose from Bothanian bay to three climatically different sites in Finland and Norway.
