- Authors
Ben-Porath, Sigal
- Abstract
The author comments on an essay by Mario di Paolantonio on the relationship of education and politics, specifically on the educational importance of political events. According to the author, the essay of Di Paolantonio draws attention to public education in times of political transition. The author also cites Roger Smith who argues that ethically constitutive stories are of particular significance in the politics of peoplehood. He also states that a stronger democracy must be supported by a public that positively responds to conflict.
