- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 48-year-old Caucasian male who reported diagnosis of proctitis and of non-specific inflammation with mucus reduction on histology in 2006. He was admitted to the hospital after having fever and symptoms of rhinitis and sinusitis. He was diagnosed with relapse of proctitis and was treated with appendectomy. It mentions co-morbidities present in the patient, chronic HBsAg carriership and development of eyes, nose and throat (ENT) symptoms.
