Title
Licence revoked over noise: appeal underway.
Abstract
The article reports on the move made by The Globe, a 300-seater music venue, to secure a live music licence from the licensing committee of Cardiff council in Wales in 2009. Alan Jones, promoter of the venue, stated that he had spent thousands of pounds attempting to isolate the venue to prevent noise pollution. He added that The Globe is working to avoid complaints from residents, particularly its insulation for the venue.
