- Abstract
In order to study the mechanical properties of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) rubbersleeved stud shear connector, the nonlinear finite element calculation of push-out tests was carried out by ABAQUS software. The shear bearing capacity and shear stiffness between SFRC rubber-sleeved stud shear connector with different rubber sleeve height and ordinary stud shear connector were compared and analyzed. The results show that the push-out test of SFRC rubber-sleeved shear connector can be better simulated by ABAQUS/standard solver. After stud shear connectors are wrapped around rubber strip with thickness of 5mm and height of 50 mm, the shear bearing capacity of the connectors remains basically unchanged, and the shear stiffness is about 50% of that of ordinary stud connectors. The change of rubber sleeve height (hr =25, 50, 75 mm) has little effect on the shear stiffness and shear bearing capacity. The height of the rubber sleeve is recommended to be 50% of the height of the stud for SFRC stud-rubber connector, which provides reference for practical engineering application of SFRC stud-rubber connector.
