- Abstract
In this article, the author opines on the challenges faced in curing diseases. The author opines on the acute kidney injury (AKI) which causes significant mortality and morbidity, and AKI occurs in the perioperative period which is diagnosed by symptoms including elevated blood urea nitrogen and creatinine, and drop in urine output. The author also provides his views on Acute Kidney Injury Network, and several biomarkers for AKI results in decrease in glomerular filtration rate.
