This article presents an interview with Verena Stolcke, Cuban-born professor emeritus of social anthropology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain. She discusses her experience as a woman researcher and academic living in Cuba. She also comments on the relationship between feminist theory and her work as a social anthropologist.
