- Abstract
A H NMR spectroscopic investigation of the kinetics of the interchange process in the equilibrium between the Z and E isomers of a stable phosphorus ylide containing a 2-benzoxazolinone group has been undertaken. Activation data ( k, k, k, Ea, Ea, Ea, Δ S, Δ H, and Δ G) and thermodynamic data ( K, Δ H°, Δ G°, and Δ S°) for the forward and reverse steps of the opposing reaction were obtained experimentally.
