- Abstract
The current research dealt with (Abstractionism in Contemporary Iraqi Feminist Art). The artistic jurisprudence of abstraction used a distinguished place in Iraqi art painting in general and Iraqi feminist art in particular, who strived to embody objective facts and to embody subjective feelings. Iraqi artists expressed their modern plastic language in addition to Absorption of the propositions of modernity and their employment with regard to vision and form, as well as the mechanics of construction, i.e. in formation and treatments. We are now facing the experience of contemporary Iraqi female painters, which is rich in the diversity of abstract art. This is evident through the styles of female painters and the prevailing intellectual attitudes in favor of a new artistic vision. In light of this, the researcher formulated the problem through the following question: (What is the abstract tendency in contemporary Iraqi feminist art), and the first chapter included the goal of the research, which is to reveal (the abstract tendency in contemporary Iraqi feminist art). As for the limits of the research, it was limited to studying and analyzing illustrated models The works of Iraqi female artists for the period of time (2006 AD - 2021 AD) that Iraqi female artists accomplished during this period with abstract art, then the aforementioned chapter concluded with the terms related to the title of the research. As for the second chapter, it included a presentation of the theoretical framework, which included two topics. As for the second section, which consists of two axes, the first axis - the feminist movement, and the second axis, the Iraqi feminist formation (establishment and references), and the chapter ends with indicators of the theoretical framework for research, and previous studies, the third chapter is dedicated to presenting research procedures and in terms of monitoring the research community and its limits by (35) plastic artists. And the information related to it to select a sample from it in an intentional way, which amounted to (4) samples for the sample that covered the limits of the research by adopting the descriptive and analytical method for the purpose of analyzing it.
