- Abstract
SiO2 microspheres were prepared from ethyl orthosilicate via Stober Frink method, and then LaMnO3 was prepared by hard template method using it as template. The prepared LaMnO3 was characterized and analyzed via X Ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS), N2 adsorption desorption and other characterization methods, and its electrochemical properties and discharge properties were tested by means of cyclic voltammetry, linear scannings blue electric test. The results show that porous LaMnO3 with spherical cavities can be prepared by silica microsphere template. It shows optimal oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) activity, and its specific surface area is 15.685 m²/g, which is much larger than that of LaMnO3 prepared by coprecipitation method. As a cathode catalyst material for aluminum air battery, compared with LaMnO3 prepared by co precipitation method, its constant current discharge is stable and its discharge voltage is higher.
