- Abstract
For uniform flow in artificial channels with different rough walls, the Froude number Fr, bottom slope ratio i, Reynolds number Re, discharge Q and channel mean water depth h were used as parameters. Through hydraulic model tests, the influence of these factors to the coefficient of roughness was determined and the primary and secondary relationships and related relationships among various factors were analyzed. The results show that the ranking of the hydraulic elements that have a greater influence on the roughness is the Froude number Fr, the channel average depth h and the bottom slope ratio i and the roughness has no relationship with discharge and Reynolds number.
