- Authors

- Abstract
The Diocesan Library of Córdoba conserves a Book of Hours from the beggining of the 16th century that has gone unnoticed by specialists. The aim of this article is to make this manuscript more widely known. It was illuminated by Pedro Machuca during the early years of his training in Italy and intended for Ferdinand of Aragon, Duke of Calabria and heir of the royal house of Naples, which he never ruled. It might have come to Córdoba among the books included in Bishop Angulo's library that was bequeathed in his will to the cathedral of his episcopal see in 1516. All the illuminated pages are reproduced in an appendix.
