- Abstract
The article provides information on the pottery assemblage typical during the late Iron Age in ancient Judah and Jerusalem. Excavators saw various types of cooking pots including incised-handle cooking pot and with X-shaped markings particularly popular in the eight and seventh centuries. The interpretation of the potter's marks by many scholars in a wide range of archaeological contexts are explained.
