- Title
Scripture alone: 'Is the Bible all we need?'.
- Authors
Grass, Tim
- Abstract
The article clarifies the meaning of the phrase "Scripture alone." The phrase does not mean dismissing church or tradition but holding the Bible as the supreme authority in all aspects of Christian faith and practice. This is line with Reformist thinking that views the Bible as unique and God-inspired. While Christians must heed the Bible's teachings on salvation, the Christian life must be lived in the context of a community where the sacraments are celebrated.
