- Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to determine whether there is a relationship between the levels of the mapping skills ratings, learning skills and the type of the school. It is a descriptive basing on reviewing model which was designed to investigate the relationship between the levels of the mapping skills and learning styles. In the study one-way ANOVA was used in order to determine the difference between the school types, the stages of the learning cycles and the mapping skills ratings. Following the determination of the difference as a result of the one-way ANOVA, Tukey HSD, which is among the tests of significance, was employed in order to determine from which level the detected difference took its roots. No meaningful difference was determined between learning styles and the levels of mapping skills of the learners. On the other hand, a meaningful difference was observed between the school types and the levels of mapping skill. This meaningful difference is in favour of the science and Anatolian high schools.
