- Abstract
An editorial is presented on Cystic fibrosis (CF) pulmonary exacerbations (PEx) being clinical events characterized broadly by signs and symptoms of worsening pulmonary health. Topics include increasing cough and sputum production and decreasing lung function, but PEx being known to be heterogeneous in both presentation and treatment response; and worsening lung function and decreasing quality of life.
