Conservation Biology Gains Momentum in India.
- Abstract
The article reports on the Center for Ecological Sciences (CES) located in the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India which has became a focus for conservation biology. It is implied that CES has gained a momentum because it has been playing a key role in providing technical guidance needed for the establishment and management of some biosphere reserves in the world which includes the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve in Western Ghats which contains relevant tracts of India's remaining Malabar rainforest.
