- Abstract
The article offers information regarding the implication of genetic polymorphism and pathogenesis of Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). According to the article, BPH is a complex disease in which there is very limited understanding of the genetic pathways involved in its initiation and progression. It reveals that genetic studies have an immense role in not only elucidating the subtle pathways but also preventing the disease by examining risk factors.
