- Abstract
The article explores the 19th century art history-related collections of the Eastlake Library of the National Gallery art museum in London, England. Topics discussed include the establishment of the library of British painter Charles Lock Eastlake, the bibliographical texts acquired by the library such as the works of art historians Rudolph Weigel and Luigi Lanzi, and a comparison between the Eastlake Library and the library constructed by art collector Leopoldo Cicognara.
