Abstract
The article discusses the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 which involves women's rights. The protocol was adopted by the Security Council on October 31, 2000. The protocol reaffirms the contribution of women in peace-building and conflict resolution, as well as the need to implement international laws to protect women and girls during and after conflicts. It also recognizes the impact to women and girls of armed conflict.
