- Abstract
The author discusses an argument on his political theory that people is best understood as a political claim, meaning that they do not exist except through representative claims which participate in the constitution of the political subject for which they profess to speak. Topics discussed by the author include an overview of some literature of the theory of representation and the paradox of democratic self-constitution by theorist and philosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau.
