- Authors
Ceulemans, Reinhart
- Abstract
An essay is presented on the significance of corpus of catenae on finding the Hexaplaric readings of Apollinaris of Laodicea. It highlights the edited catenae of Apollinaris on Genesis, the scholia Psalms, and his commentary on Pauline Epistles. It notes that Apollinaris was not recognized as source of Hexaplaric readings due to lack of critical edition of his catenae. Moreover, his Hexaplaric readings missed scholarly attention and he was not appreciated correctly as source of such readings.
