- Abstract
The article presents a study on the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury (TBI). It used clinical data of 320 TBI patients from the Cognitive Neurology Outpatient Clinic at the University of Leipzig, Germany. The results show that suitable magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequence should be used to examine symptomatic TBI patients due to relative frequency of isolated traumatic microbleed. No simplistic structural-functional relationship was found in the chronic phase.
