- Authors

- Abstract
This article studies Nueva Acción Pública (NAP: New Public Action), an ephemeral party which existed in Chile at the beginning of the nineteen thirties. The aim is to reinterpret versions which claim that the NAP was born under the influence of the Popular Revolutionary Alliance of America (APRA) which became the Peruvian Aprista Party (PAP). Furthermore, the organization and the structure of this Chilean movement will be analyzed, as well as the conspiracies in which the party militants were involved and the ideological and political influences on the party from the moment of its founding in 1931 until its fusion with the Socialist Party of Chile in April, 1933.
