- Abstract
The article highlights the meeting of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) Council held in London, England on April 2, 2008. The meeting was chaired by BVA president Nick Blayney. Some of the issues addressed at the meeting were the provision of 24-hour emergency cover and compliance with the European Union Working Time Regulations, review of the representational function of the BVA as delivered through its Council, the Veterinary Surgeons Act and the launch of VETS.TV.
