- Abstract
The article reviews the study on the complete pathologic response of breast cancer patients to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. It hypothesizes a similar response for using the semiquantitative immunohistochemistry for estrogen, progesterone, and human epidermal growth factor receptors. It confirms the hormone receptor negative paradox that implied the worst overall survival due to the higher relapse in residual disease.
