- Abstract
The article offers information on a study which evaluated the efficacy and toxicity of the combination of carboplatin, gemcitabine, and capecitabine in patients with carcinoma of unknown primary (CUP) site. Each patients in phase two clinical trial have received the combination drug administered via intravenous. The primary endpoint of the clinical trial was objective response rate by intent-to-treat analysis. In conclusion, the drug combination regimen is active in CUP, especially in patients with liver metastases.
