- Title
ABCP-funded vehicles.
- Abstract
The article offers information about asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) conduits. An ABCP conduit is the result when a special purpose vehicle issues ABCP instead of securities backed by the cash flows on its asset. ABCP conduits can be classified into five programme types. They are single-seller, multi-seller, credit arbitrage, hybrid, and repo or total return swap (TRS). Further, ABCP conduits are different from structured investment vehicle (SIV) because ABCP conduits can issue only ABCP.
